Hey gang! Hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend. It’s been a little dreary here, but I loved my weekend because Mario came up to visit! Yay! Only three more months of this long distance stuff.
I’ve been working on my “vlogging” skills. I did a vlog over a year ago and just didn’t feel it. But I’m starting to think that using it as a tool to just check in, let ya know what’s going on, and the such is a great use of a vlog. This is why I’ve been working on a series called “Sweaty Saturday”
Here’s last weekend’s Sweaty Saturday vlog and accompanying workout:
Tabata Workout
first 4 minutes

20 seconds of star jumps, 10 seconds recovery — 4X
-
20 seconds of switch lunges, 10 seconds of recovery — 4X
stretch for 1 minute
second 4 minutes
-
20 seconds of shuffle, jump squat, 10 seconds of recovery — 8X
This is a quick workout, but definitely gets your heart pumping. I loved it, and it was perfect for me just getting back into the workout scene after being sick.

It was a four mile run and definitely was feeling the effects of a evening of over indulgence. Letting go of your healthy habits can seem so tempting, but when its time to get your butt moving again, it is so much harder!
