I got this idea from another blog that I love to read –> Cotter Crunch.  Check her out sometime!

Either way I thought I’d share with you treadmill workouts that I’ve been researching on the internet.  I love to run, but sometimes the run needs to be moved inside in the winter.  So why not go into the gym with a plan? 

Here are 5 that either I’ve tried or really want to try:

From Runner’s World –> Treadmill Workouts

From Tone It Up –>  Shredmill Workout + Tone and Pump

From FitSugar –> 500 Calorie Treadmill Workout,

3 (NOT) Boring Treadmill Workouts,

Four Printable Treadmill Workouts

Hopefully these will keep you from building up boredom on the ‘mill.  I used to refer to it as the dreadmill, however last winter I trained about twice a week on it and loved it, because I had a plan!

I also have been researching these workouts because it’s getting a lot colder here!  Almost 27 degrees this morning, brrrrrr!  But did that stop me from having a Green Monster this morning?  Absolutely not!

IMG_0140 Basic Green Monster:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup sliced frozen strawberries
  • handful of fresh spinach
  • 1 cup soy or almond milk
  • 1 TBSP Peanut Butter
  • 2 tsp chia or flaxseeds
  • 3 – 4 ice cubes
