For 5 days I challenged myself to a whole diet renovation. Crazy Sexy Challenge took out the gluten, the meat, the dairy, the coffee, and the sugar, and replaced it with whole plant based foods.
- I’m not vegan. I believe that dairy and meat can play a healthy role in our diet when we choose quality products and consume them in moderation.
- Coffee will stay! I only drank 1 – 2 cups per day, and honestly only had a headache during the challenge without it.
- Green Juices are a staple now! I love my juicer and love green juices. It took a bit of time for me to get used to the taste, but now I’m hooked.
- My eating habits are now a lot better. Cravings are less intense and I’m choosing fruits and vegetables as snacks.
Did I feel a big difference? No, which is why I’m not cutting the gluten or the animal products completely. At least I know that my skin problems are probably stress related, and not diet related. I felt good on the diet, but not that much different than when I’m eating my normal healthy diet, which includes a little bit of meat, dairy, grains, and fruits and vegetables.
